All the Best Freaks

You’re invited to the wake to end all wakes. Let’s show Antonia out with the party she deserves! All the best freaks are invited.

The Village by the Sea is too big to be a small town, but too small to be a real city. In those sorts of places, there are always people who just don’t fit in. If it’s the right sort of place, the ones that don’t fit in take care of each other. The Manor on the Hill was like that. It didn’t matter whether you were queer, half-fae, a leather daddy, or a were-coyote, you were welcome. If you didn’t fit in and respected everyone else, you belonged there. Antonia made sure of it. Every Saturday night, something was happening at the Manor. Sometimes it was a kink party. Sometimes it was a movie marathon. Sometimes it was just a bunch of people smoking pot and playing Magic the Gathering.

That all ended years ago. Now Antonia is dead. But we’re going to remember her the way she would have wanted: with one hell of a party! (Maybe literally if the demons stop by).

This larp takes place at a kink party in a modern fantasy world. It is actually a kink party. Actual kinky things happen in this game.

Sex and kink related activities that may occur during this larp include sensation play, impact play, and bondage, and sex. These activities may occur between characters (in-character) using intimacy mechanics and between players in real life (out-of-character). Players will have the opportunity (using player surveys) to specify which activities they are comfortable with taking place during the larp, both involving them (in-character and/or out-of-character) and between others in the game space.

Players do NOT need to be willing to engage in any of these activities, either in-character or out-of-character, to play this game. However, to play this game, players do need to consent to many of them happening in the game space. It is ok if players are not comfortable with some specific things, including out-of-character sex: players will decide on the casting questionnaire whether these are allowed. Some kink and sex related items are canonically present in the game space and some specific kink acts cannot be vetoed.

As part of remembering Antonia, players will participate in magic-induced memory flashback scenes.

Most characters in this game are player-choice gender. There are a small number of gendered characters. Gender will be asked about on the casting questionnaire for these characters. All characters are queer and polyamorous.

There are mechanics for negotiating kink and intimacy and for simulating acts that you do not wish to portray. These mechanics involve hand contact at the minimum. There will be a short workshop at the beginning around negotiating boundaries.
